In 2022, National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, Phyllis Fox began serving with Dr. Michael Mabry, DO, Family Physicians of Johnson City. Together Dr. Mabry and Phyllis created a 6-session program to teach and inform patients on how to thrive in their lives.

The six session program is 12+ hours of instruction and education in a group setting. Patients quickly begin making significant health improvements and find the dynamic Group Medical Visits to be helpful and encouraging.

The menu plan is based on Dr. Mabry's "Daily Choices for a Healthier Life."  Recipes and cooking tips are included

Phyllis received her National Board Certification in December 2021 and her Master Health Coach Certification from the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute in 2020. The Dr. Sears Wellness Institute is founded by world-renowned physician and author, Dr. William Sears. The Institute is a leader in science-based health and wellness education that focuses on the four pillars of health; Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude and Nutrition (L.E.A.N.). A certification by the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute is obtained only after completing the extensive course work and meeting all requirements. Once certified, a Health Coach possesses the knowledge, tools and resources to make a positive difference in the health of others.
